Armada Technologies PRO48 [PRO48] Multi-Function Irrigation System Tester

The Armada Technologies PRO48 Multi-Function Irrigation Test Tool utilizes a solenoid activation and chatter capability to identify zones and their operation as well as to locate lost valve boxes hidden under turf or landscaping features. The Pro48 can identify opens and shorts in wiring or solenoids, verify good wire or solenoids, and verify that controllers are transmitting 24V AC from each output. And together with the PRO210F Advanced Tone Probe, the PRO48 can transmit a traditional tracing tone to identify individual wire points of termination and identify where wires go.

The Armada Technologies PRO48 is a new low cost test set for irrigation contractors and maintenance personnel. The Armada Tech PRO48 performs a series of simple procedures to test, verify, and identify solenoid, wire, and clock problems. Sprinkler solenoids can be checked using either activation or chatter modes. Lost or buried solenoids are quickly found as well by listening for the chatter. Wiring can be verified and tagged with the built in tone generator function. Clocks also are tested for proper 24v transmission with a simple LED power check. Irrigation problems are often problems with the electrical portion of the sprinkler system. Sprinkler systems work on the idea that 110 volt AC is converted to 24 volt dc and sent down the wires leading to a solenoid attached to a valve at the appropriate time. The PRO48 tests all of the critical electrical components and does so in an easy to follow LED system that walks a user through the process component by component. This system of checks tests out the clock or controller first, then the wires, and finally the solenoid, which are all of the electric components of a sprinkler system.
